Welcome

Welcome to Longfellow Elementary!

Longfellow Elementary is a K-5 building with many outstanding traditions, providing students with the opportunity to be successful both academically and socially for over 56 years. We have a staff that is highly qualified and dedicated to producing a strong educational foundation upon which a life time of learning experiences can be built.

The educational process of today’s youth is a partnership between parents, the community, businesses, and the school system.

The mission of our school is to encourage:

  • cooperative relationship among staff, students, parents, and community
  • increased academic achievement through a variety of instructional strategies
  • creative planning and scheduling of staff and facility
  • ongoing staff development
  • mutual respect and manners

If you have any questions or concerns about your child's education, please contact me.
