Clayton & Burns Receive OHSAA Award

Tim Clayton & Ron Burns accept OHSAA State Award for Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity.

September 23, 2017 - On Friday, at Sidney's home varsity football game vs. West Carrollton, Mr. Tim Clayton and Mr. Ron Burns were recognized on behalf of the Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Committee of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, receiving their State Award for Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity.   


This OHSAA State Award for Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity is for a person, or persons, in the community who exemplifies good sportsmanship, one who is a positive role model for others, one who reflects a high level of ethics and integrity in dealings with students and the interscholastic athletic program, one who supports and demonstrates positive values, and one who has contributed to the well-being of the youth of the local high school.  


Ron and Tim have volunteered thousands of hours for youth sports in Sidney and Shelby County. Sidney Athletics and Sidney City Schools thank them for their selfless dedication to the youth of our community.
