The district has fully transitioned to an on-line registration portal through InfoSnap. All students - new and returning - will need to complete the InfoSnap Online Registration. Online registration through InfoSnap is mandatory and is necessary for students to access school computers and attend school field trips. Additionally, it is important that we have current contact information and emergency medical contacts.
**INFO SNAP ONLINE REGISTRATION WORKS BEST USING MOZILLA FIREFOX, CHROME, AND SAFARI WEB BROWSERS! InfoSnap Online Registration does not work well using Internet Explorer.**
New students are those who have never attended Sidney City Schools, as well as those who have previously attended but withdrew and attended school elsewhere before returning to Sidney.
In order to begin the InfoSnap Online Registration and enrollment process, please complete the Registration Information and Request for Records forms. The Registration Information form provides us with the basic information required to allow families to access InfoSnap Online Registration.
Request for Records
In order to register your child you will need the following required documents:
- Student's Birth Certificate
- Student's Social Security Card
- Student's Immunization Record
- Proof of Residency - mortgage, lease, utility bill, bank statement, check stub, etc. (a driver's license is not valid proof)
- Custody Documents - as applicable
Once you have provided the building secretary with the Registration Information and Request for Records forms, you will be given an InfoSnap SnapCode letter, which contains your child's SnapCode and instructions on how to access InfoSnap.

InfoSnap requires creating an account using an email address. Please refer to these instructions on how to create a gmail email account.
The online registration process for new students will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. In addition to basic residential information about your child, you will need to be able to provide emergency contact information, doctor/dentist names and phone numbers, health history, and parent/guardian employment (as applicable).
New students enrolling at Sidney High School and Sidney Middle School will also need to allow for time, in person, to discuss scheduling options with a counselor or administrator.
Sidney City Schools accepts students looking to open enroll into the district. Those interested in doing so should call or visit the Board of Education office during normal business hours.
Sidney City Schools online registration for the upcoming school year is now available. This online registration process through InfoSnap replaces the traditional paper forms previously sent home at the start of each school year. Once you have a valid email address and your child's SnapCode, you will be able to start InfoSnap Online Registration. InfoSnap is accessible via smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Many data fields for returning students are prepopulated with information submitted last year - in these cases, verify the information is correct. The online process for returning or current students will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
COMPLETING INFOSNAP ONLINE REGISTRATION/ENROLLMENT
- Visit InfoSnap Online Registration.
- Enter the SnapCode provided for your child. If you have misplaced your SnapCode letter, please contact your child's school.
- Log into your account, or if you have not previously done so, create a new account (requires an email - create a gmail email account).
- Authenticate the SnapCode by entering the student's date of birth.
- Complete each page and submit.
Be sure to complete all required fields and follow required formatting. Once you submit for one child, you have the option of starting the registration for another child.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS/PHONE
If your child's contact information should change throughout the school year, it's important that you notify their school. You can call or email your child's school office at your convenience, or you can fill out the Change of Address form below and have your child bring it to school.
